The existing footprint consists of 5 buildings. There is a different flat sizes which needs to be consider. The core value of sale flats have to be different than the rehabilitated tenements
OP1- THE FUNNEL
A funnel is created at the main entrance which creates a visual depth to infinity. It also pulls in west winds and drives it through the entire plot.
OP2- THE WALL
A linear wall footprint which creates a continuous façade and the mass which looks solid and grandiose. This forms flats with cross ventilation and hence provide more breathable flats.
