CHALLENGE
Goregaon is has now only few pockets of slum areas left and hence its rehabilitation is even more emphasized and focused. The topography is a challenge with slope going more than 1:5 scale and has major reservations such as Garden Reservation, Cemetery and Road Depot. The orientation, zoning and hierarchy will play a crucial role.
SOLUTION
The high tropical ground is allotted for sale component land area and garden reservation is used as a buffer to alleviate privacy. The altitude also provide better funnel for views and vistas. Following the plot axis the zoning is evolved to more process driven. The slope levels used to identify parking and other mixed used development.An ultra-luxury apartment building is designed to get cross ventilation and 360 view point for all.
